"My experience of the colonoscopy department"

About: Kettering General Hospital

I underwent colonoscopy last Wednesday as a result of my routine ' FIT ' test being positive.

I really just wanted to comment on how pleasant, friendly and kind everyone - the lovely lady at reception, all the nursing team, the delightful young lady registrar who performed the investigation for me and the consultant who shook my hand and told me what they found - was. I'm very grateful for everyone's help.

As a team we understand how difficult and daunting having Endoscopic procedures done can be so we work hard to try and make the process as efficient and informative as possible right through from the booking process to the discharge home. Providing Individualised care to everyone we see is our number 1 priority so receiving feedback from those that use our service helps us immensely.
