"An unexpected hospital stay."

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Neurology (Brain, Spinal and Nerves) General Practices in Grampian

(as the patient),

I had an operation in January and had struggled to get back to full health. About 8 weeks ago my symptoms started getting worse and ended up having to call out my doctor from the Hamilton Medical Practise, who treated me with respect and understanding, looking back at my notes and listened to me. He contact a consultant at ARI they discussed my symptoms and arrange for me to be admitted to ward 205.

Once admitted and examined they took time to explain my diagnoses and how they could help and support me.
I would like to thank all the staff who cared for and looked after me during my stay, I felt supported and respected during me stay. The physiotherapist, OT and SLT(sorry I can’t remember all your names) gave me the ‘tools’ , belief and explanation of my diagnosis to help me. Huge thank you to you all.

Thank you for your kind words. Staff on Ward 205 will be pleased to hear words of thanks, they all work hard to provide a high standard of care. I am pleased to hear you received a high standard of care and support at a difficult time.

Kind Regards

Alison
