Ive been a patient here for 40 years and have never complained before, but after a catalogue of failings and increasingly poor access in recent years I'm bound to set out our families latest experience. Our 17 year old son filled in the practice form to register and brought his Passport and Driving License as ID evidence. The practice staff say this is not sufficient as they need a paper utility bill with address (His driving license issued 6 months ago has the address). As a 17 year old living at home it surprised the staff that he doesn't have any utility bills with his name. He has (just opened) an online access bank account ( no paper). They recommended he bring the paper part of his driving license. When I explained these haven't been issued since 2015 they say I'm wrong and they still do! The practice is not fit for purpose, great doctors and nurses but awful operational practice and procedures. (I could add plenty about the hit and miss repeat prescription system and my sons referral for a consultant opinion at the start of April - still heard nothing..)
