"Baby girl born at Bassetlaw"

I was really nervous after being told I was going to be induced with my daughter after going into labour naturally with my son. Everyone on the labour and A2 ward were fantastic from the moment we walked in. Everyone we saw was so friendly and interested in us and I felt so well supported. When the time came to meet our baby Chris the senior midwife on the labour ward was so amazing from start to finish, she put me at ease and when it became apparent baby had the cord round her neck she remained calm and explained everything that was going on throughout and made sure she arrived quickly and safely. I cannot thank her enough. My experience from my booking appointment to birth at this hospital was amazing and so much more personal than my first experience at a large birthing unit. I would definitely recommend having your baby here.
