I was recently seen at St Michael's Hospital following a traumatic and unprofessional experience with the Irish maternity system while on holidays visiting family there in which I continually dealt with rude staff and was misdiagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy and staff tried to convince me to have exploratory surgery/methrotrexate.
The staff at St Michael's went above and beyond to support me in getting seen quickly on return to the UK (weekend appointment). I spoke at length to the ward manager over the phone when I was in a highly distress state. She was extremely professional and knowledgable and convinced me to get seen despite significant concerns I had regarding accessing any kind of medical maternity care following my awful experience in Ireland. The staff on the ward were friendly, professional and patient. The ward was spotless. My options were cleared explained to me including risks. I felt in great hands. Thank you so much to you all. Briliant service.
"Fantastic staff and service"
