"Problems getting an appointment"

It is nearly impossible to get a booked appointment for a date you want. Most times I have to wait for two to three weeks and then it is not always for a date/time I want. As I am self employed I have to take at least a day off work and fit around the needs of my clients and it is not always possible to do that and fit in a doctors appointment without losing a days pay. This is the age of work flexibility, but doctors appear to have not understood that. A day off (with no pay) just for 20 minutes with a doctor is a very high price to pay for 'free' health care!
