"Confusing depts and signs"

About: Chase Farm Hospital / Clinical haematology

We have been a few times now to a couple of depts, mainly bloods and haematology. Have been very satisfied overall with the service. However, although a beautiful clean hospital, the design of depts is shocking. The blood dept is on ground floor but the confusion of Zone areas, waiting rooms and where you have to go is crazy! Some of the screens where your name comes up are positioned where you cant see it properly. The room where bloods are taken is not clear where you have to go. Having been a few times now, I've directed several people to the correct rooms!! Elderly people are confused..it takes time to find the correct section/room and could lose your appt! Zone I can be mistaken for number 1 confusing a lady there last week who was looking for I3. Scan rooms have small waiting areas that you dont know if you are waiting in the correct one. The hospital needs to make the signage and depts more clearly to find. So Confusing. Can see others are complaining too!

Dear Carolamb (if I may)

Thank you for sharing your experience of your visit to Chase Farm Hospital. I have forwarded it to managers as well as the Chief Executive; it is timely feedback as the hospital is new so we are keen to hear how it is going.

With Kind Regards

Richard
