"MRI results, no answers"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Neurology University Hospital Wishaw / X-rays and Scans

(as the patient),

I am 6 and a half months pregnant and I have been absolutely devasted and extremely worried for a fortnight now. Even worse over the weekend.

I had a seizure in January in my sleep (first ever) and waited months for an MRI. Now, I have had the MRI I was told I would have been contacted if anything has been found within 2 days. Otherwise, I would receive a letter of the result in the post within 2 weeks. 2 weeks have went by with nothing. So I had to phone the doctors Secretary myself to find out what was going on. The staff member I spoke to told me to phone my GP which I did and they told me that the neurologist is waiting on "more info" so I called the secretary back to be told (in a rather rude way) that the radiologist has "found something" and is sending it to Queen Elizabeth In Glasgow. That's all they told me. I got off the phone in tears and I decided to call back and I then spoke to a different staff member who told me that the person I spoke to before wasn't even the doctor's Secretary!!!

And that they will be in on Monday. However, this staff member was more sympathetic and tried to talk to me. they told me that the doctor's Secretary will be in contact on Monday to try and shed more light. Now, my blood pressure is high and I've been worried sick

Why wasn't I contacted if "something" has been found?

What is this "something"? It can't just read "something" on the report! I feel like they obviously don't want to tell me something or not allowed! I need to know what's going on. This is causing me so much distress which I'm worried will harm my unborn child.

I need answers immediately.
