"BUCC is not fit for purpose"

About: Bracknell Urgent Care Centre Wic

Hi,

I received

advice from my GP in Windsor to go to the Bracknell Urgent Care Centre in order to get a suspected broken finger and rib x-rayed and assessed. After giving the paperwork from my GP to the receptionist, I was seen by a nurse in a blue uniform.

She informed me that my GP had not given me the right form to bring to you and therefore I could not be treated.

She said also that my GP had sent me to you in order to avoid paying for the x-rays.

I found her behaviour extraordinary unhelpful and it appears that she took any excuse to turn people away, which makes BUCC totally useless.

I had to return home, since the nurse refused letting me have treatment, totally wasting my time.

I suggest you will need to convince your staff that their purpose is to treat patients, not fabricating flimsy arguments for sending them away.

Regards,

Peter Andersson
