"Dissatisfied with A&E waiting times"

About: Newham Urgent Care Centre

(as a service user),

I called Newham A&E to ask about wait times. I feel that it's a sad state of affairs, but I feel that you have to be tactical in choosing when you go to make sure you don't end up spending a full day.

I got through to reception who told me the wait time was four and a half hours which I found completely unsatisfactory. When I asked if it would be better to come the next day the person on the other end of the phone told me they can't tell me that. I again asked if they could give any indication and I was hung up on.

I feel that the service is terrible, rude and has left me avoiding getting treatment that the 111 telephone service has suggested is necessary.
