My daughter was referred to the RNOH from our local hospital but the local hospital never seems to have sent through the referral request. They told me to phone RNOH who said they would look into it and phone me back -- which they did the following day. RNOH explained what needed to happen next (our local hospital needed to fax the request again) and checked what dates we were available for an appointment. This meant that we weren't given an appointment when we were going to be away for an upcoming holiday. When we arrived for our appointment this week, staff were very helpful and professional. The appointment went very smoothly - we arrived early and were sent for X-rays and when we returned, only waited about 5 minutes for our appointment. The consultant explained everything in great detail and checked that we had all our questions answered, and told us what would happen next. I feel confident that my daughter's condition will be well treated at the RNOH.
