While walking to work, 8 am, I tripped and fell,on head/face. Several people stopped to assist ( people of Southsea/Portsmouth are amazing!) and an ambulance was called which arrived within 10 mins.
I was taken to A and E and received professional care, X Rays, stitches, monitoring blood pressure, sight tests and Consultant attended to ensure my eye socket not broken, every injury was investigated until they were satisfied. While I was there I observed other patients received the same professional, calm, reassuring service, no one minded waiting as our injuries were not life threatening.
I can not thank NHS Staff enough for the care I received at a very distressing time.
"Excellent Care from all aspects of NHS"
