I have been under the CMHT care for several years. During that time I have received some outstanding support from my care coordinators who I’ve always found to be flexible, compassionate and caring. Unfortunately I cannot give the service five stars due to the appalling ‘care’ given by the duty worker last month. When a friend also called to express concern about my mental state they were told confidential information about me, as well as being told I shouldn’t ‘expect everything her (my) own way’. The request was simply to speak to another member of staff due to a previous negative experience with the same individual. Not only did she break confidentiality, she was rude, unsupportive and frankly is a disgrace to the mental health profession (of which I also work within for another trust). The service would have been 5* if it had not been for this individual! If I knew her last name I would be raising a concern with the HCPC.
"Excellent care by most. Shame about the minority"
