"Appointment system"

I rang today for the fourth time to try and pre book an appointment the surgery website clearly states that there is a mix of bre bookable and on the day appointments available I am not bothered what date or which GP it was with to be told yet again there are no prebookable appointments. This time I explained that the alternative that I was given earlier in the week of calling Bardoc was also not suitable as they can only arrange same day appointments which does not fit in with my work schedule. I was then offered an early morning appointment at the surgery which although the earliest date they can offer is in 4 weeks time this suits my needs so why was this alternative not offered in a previous call? This booking system urgently needs looking at as the idea of turning up and waiting does not suit the needs of people who work and just want to book a routine appointment. Surely there should be a mix of sit and wait and prebookable slots I am sure that this would greatly enchance the reviews that this practice receives
