"Excellent care"

I have just been discharged from APH and I wanted to express my gratitude to all concerned in my care , I was brought in by the ambulance the paramedics were Chris and his partner was Ted. They spent so much time and effort supporting me and comforting me through a traumatic time. 

This carried on straight into resus were nurses Lee and Natalie were amazing, calm and patient focused throughout. Even coming to visit me after on the ward to check I was ok . Again above and beyond in their already demanding roles & shift. 

I was then transferred to EDRU were sister Deb and her team went above and beyond to make me comfortable and pain free in a difficult challenging ward that often does not get the recognition it deserves. 

Darina the staff nurse, the HCAs including a lady called Mila was one name I remember whose compassion towards not only myself but the other ladies in the bay did not go unnoticed, who again was invaluable and the rest of the team too many to mention, were excellent in their approach and support through a difficult and embarrassing time for me. 

If this was not enough the ED consultants Dexter, Santos and Nadia treated me with so much dignity and compassion whilst dealing with much more serious and intense cases going on around they took the time to listen to my concerns and helped me through a scary process.

At Arrowe they have so much bad press at what they don’t do, I feel it should be heard and said what they actually do put up with and the pressure they are under to keep their standards high.
