About: Royal Stoke University Hospital / Cardiology

I rang for an ambulance after experiencing chest pains and was admitted for angioplasty with stents.

My pain started at 5am and by 4 pm the same day I had been transported by ambulance , had all the necessary tests, diagnosed, had stents fitted and was lying comfortably in a hospital bed by 4pm the same day.

What a fabulous service and we don't have to worry whether our insurance or purse can afford it.

Everyone from the ambulance crew to consultatnts, nurses, cleaners and porters are magnificent. I am now experiencing the wonderful aftercare.

It is humbling to be a recipient of such skilled and caring people. What a team. Thank you NHS.
