On Friday evening I found myself at A and E with a suspected DVT. I cannot emphasise enough how fantastic the team of staff were that were working Friday nights shift. In the time I was there I went through a very efficient and thorough screening process to determine my condition. Yes I had to sit and wait around a while but the staff were so polite and apologetic and honest about timescales. They work in a very demanding environment but their professionalism and resilience remained intact with smiles and friendly comments and this made such a positive impact on me. Everything I I was told on Friday night has been followed through with exceptionally efficiency and I was contacted over the weekend for a scan appt this morning. Again the friendliness and efficiency of the staff in the DVT clinic today was superb and I was given immediate feedback on the scan findings. Fantastic work Northampton General 😄.
