I would like to thank the paramedics Albert and Andrew who arrived at my house in the early hours of 8th July to attend to my elderly mum who went splat on the floor
With mum being so frail they scooped her up and took her to ARI .
Also many thanks to the A&E department as mum was suffering from confusion and in a lot of pain. I unfortunately I didn’t catch the name of the doctor who looked after mum the doctor could could see I was upset and a welcome decision was made to place mum in a ward as her kidneys weren’t well plus ongoing delirium
I gave the doctor a massive hug .
Ward s 102/303 consultant Doctor Greg , Junior doctors Lauren, Greg and Katie
. A big thank you to them for putting myself and mum at ease.
A diagnosis was quickly picked up on even though mum comes from Sunderland and the doctors didn’t have access to mums records, which In itself must have been a nightmare for the staff. They came up trumps though .
The Nurses on both wards 102/303 a massive thanks to them, their care and attention was second to none , we managed with the help of nurse Lauren to visit the Robertson Roof garden as it was a gorgeous day , it’s a excellent place to visit I recommend it to anybody if they can to visit it.
A Final thank you to the paramedics who transported mum back to Sunderland .
Once again Aberdeen ARI I cannot thank you enough , boxes of choccies just didn’t seem enough but I’m sure the staff inhaled them.
