"A&E Visit on 8 August 2019"

About: Western Eye Hospital

I went to A&E last Thursday morning at 1115 Hrs because the sight was disturbed in my right eye. Was seen by a delightful young female consultant, who could not have been more congenial, gave me a precise summary of what had gone wrong and letter to my GP with a copy for me. She was available for a question after I had had my blood pressure taken. I left at 1315 hrs - very impressive for an A&E department. All the staff were pleasant. I should just like to suggest that the staff on reception give each person a welcoming smile, as many patients are alarmed after a sudden sight difficulty.
