"Colonoscopy"

I feel the need to share my experience of having a colonoscopy at York hospital. Beforehand I was extremely nervous of what to expect. I can't praise the staff enough on the endoscopy unit, each and every single member of staff were excellent and professional and made me feel relaxed. Everything was explained clearly and I was allowed to ask questions about the the procedure. I was informed of what was happening during the procedure and treated with dignity and respect. I experienced a slight bit of discomfort during the procedure but it was not painful. Had I known beforehand I would not have been so anxious the night before. If anyone is reading this review please don't afraid, I can honestly say that you are in safe hands, and I will never be afraid again. Thank you to all staff, you are brilliant.
