"Staff were great but some improvements could be..."

First off positives: staff were all lovely and helpful and warm. This is really important and I was suprised. Things that could be improved: I got confused and waited in the wrong waiting room for a while so despite booking an appointment I was there a total of two and a half hours. This is a really long waiting time and while it may have been caused by me waiting in the wrong room, I was not given information about how long the service would take. My poor boyfriend who was waiting for me, had no idea that I would be so long and actually was sick while he was there, a sudden onset. He also has anxiety from PTSD and found the loud noises (he was downstairs in reception) and endless waiting distressing. Maybe the services could be a bit more friendly to people with mental health problems, as having to ask someone how long everything will take is really nerve racking but also waiting but not knowing how long it's going to take is hard too.

I feel like mental disabilities aren't really taken into consideration in the physical section of the NHS. It wouldve helped if we were kept updated about the times so he could decide to go home. I didn't mind waiting though but for his sake I felt bad and on a bad day myself I would've struggled.

But the staff were friendly and nice and made me feel like my health was important and everything was clean and they seemed very competent
