"Disgraceful waiting times"

I rang today to try to make an appointment and was told I would have to wait 19 days , the receptionist then said we have appointments available on Monday but you will have to call on the day which is ridiculous when you work full time and rely on public transport , the only way to try and get an appointment is to be there really early as the phone lines do not open until 08:30 and my work day starts at 08:00 , but by the time you get through morning appointments have usually all gone. I have been with the surgery now all my life but it is at its worst now , it would be nice if people are really stuck with work commitments and transport that the surgery could be a little lenient with available appointment
