"Thyroid cancer treatment"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital / Clinical oncology

I would just like to thank the staff on F5 for looking after me so well nothing was to much trouble for the nursing staff and they are very happy and friendly. I had to have 2 pre treatment injections the nurse I saw on Sunday and Monday was lovely and made me feel very at ease and I was in and out of the ward very quickly. The nuclear medicine team were excellent I was very nervous about the radioactive iodine treatment but they made the process very relaxed and explained clearly everything that was involved. They made sure I had everything I needed and I truly felt I had 5* treatment so thank you very much.
