"Made me feel like the most important person to be seen"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Maternity care Victoria Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I'm halfway through my first pregnancy. I've had a few issues that have caused me some concern. The maternity assesment or the community midwives or visiting the antenatal department have been so helpful and reassuring. At no point have I been made to feel like a burden or wasting time, in fact all the staff I've come into contact with have made me feel like the most important person to be seen.

This has meant that I've had the confidence to get in touch when things aren't right without the fear of being frowned upon.

Great work and attitude - keep it up!

Hi WeeOne

Thank you for taking the time to give us this lovely feedback. It is great to hear that you have felt reassured by the maternity staff during you pregnancy. I will ensure this feedback is sent to the staff as I’m sure they will be pleased to read it. I hope you enjoy the last of your pregnancy and meet your baby soon.

Best wishes,

Alison.
