Having had a breast screening appt it was confirmed I had breast cancer, this was handled by the breast screening department at st Luke's hospital Bradford. I was given the choice of where I wished to be treated, which I thought was very good.
I elected to be treated at calderdale, as it was the nearest hospital. So glad I chose calderdale, everyone who has been involved with my care were all so compassionate & caring. From the breast screening on 22 may 2019 to the mastectomy on 18th July 2019, it was all so quick.
Well done NHS, I owe you my life xx
