"Removal of skin tags on neck"

About: Stoke Gifford Medical Centre

This was the second time I had visited the surgery regarding the removal of skin tags on my neck. I had 10 removed on the left hand side of my neck during my previous appointment and this time I had 4 skin tags removed from the right hand side of my neck. The Dr explained at the first session that the process would involve 2 stings per skin tag to be removed, the first being the needle and then a second for the anaesthetic. He said that if it all became too uncomfortable that the process could be stopped. He also explained that there may be some scarring and to leave the plasters on overnight and remove them in the morning to avoid them potentially bleeding overnight. He also said to look out for 'oozing' from the wounds but they were very minor.

I was pleased with the result of my first appointment following the 10 skin tags removed and there was no scarring that occurred. I am pleased that the surgery has been able to offer this clinic.
