hi, my little one is now 10 weeks old. she was born early and had a stay in SCBU. For myself and dad it was quite daunting. but between the nurses, doctors and nursery nurses, in SCBU and in particular Sarah, the staff nurse, Nicola and Denise the two nursery nurses were absolutely fantastic, couldn't fault my little one's care. or the support to myself and my husband. In the maternity unit, the staff were all brilliant. George the midwife really helped me, as did Claire, the nursery nurse, Helen was always ready with a cup of tea and some toast, even late on when we had been in special care all day. it was no trouble for her.
the surgeon who performed my caesarean section, camille and her team, and the theater staff, cant sing their praises enough, they were all just amazing. I cant in any way fault any of my care at the maternity unit from the anti natal diabetes clinic, the maternity unit, the theater staff, SCBU, were all absolutely amazing. so a big thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 😊
