About: South West London And St George's Mental Health NHS Trust

I was uncertain at first how useful attending recovery courses would be for me as I’ve suffered from severe anxiety and depression, but every single session so far has been of huge value to me. Not only has it felt therapeutic to talk difficult things through with others, but I always learn something new, and this has been an amazing start into my journey of recovery after some CBT. I’ve learnt so much about myself, and the trainers have always helped me see that my thoughts and feelings are valid, even if I was worried about sharing things – especially in recent sessions with Stella and Bob who are fantastic at making everyone feel comfortable and safe enough to get involved.
