I was rushed into the department with severe pain around my left kidney area bloods and urine checked I was there approx 3 hours told at the end blood in urine and told probably had a Kidney stone no scan was offered and told I would be referred to a urologist for further tests and sent home in with codeine . Five days later went to see my GP as having trouble when eating he give me gastro tablets which did help nothing on their system about being referred to a urologist . I went back to my GPS yesterday as still having pain and scared of getting infection I saw the nurse practitioner who I must say was absolutely brilliant and still nothing on their system about being referred she has referred me yesterday which I think is a absolute disgrace just sent home with tablets and nothing else being done not even been referred to a specialist after 2 and a half weeks.. I went to a and e on the 12th July.
