"Excellent care from the breast unit"

I was referred to the breast unit by my GP after finding a lump. I was greeted at the unit by a lovely young man from reception who instantly put me at ease. Appointments were running on time and every staff member I spoke to was so friendly and reassuring, especially the nurse who assisted during the biopsy which I had the same day. Everything seems to run very efficiently and with such a personalised approach. I returned 4 days later for my results and again, everything was faultless. The same friendly receptionist and the same nurse I had during the biopsy. Seeing the same friendly, familiar faces was reassuring. Luckily the lump was nothing serious and I was discharged. I have nothing but praise for the breast unit, the level of customer service and care received was second to none, the staff there are a credit to the NHS.
