In two years of being a Lyndon Clinic Patient I have only had the chance to see them on four occasions / appointments. The first Psychiatrist?...retired and so I had to start all over again with a new one...but after only ten minutes with the new 'professional' I got sent home with nothing more than frustration and anger at the lack of empathy and understanding that I received that day. My next 'emergency' appointment was not with a psychiatrist but a duty nurse who I told... I was on the verge of suicide of which I had attempted numerous times before.
Reaction?...got sent home, no medication alteration (which I asked for) and a letter in the post reacting to the last meeting, which had everything I told the Nurse back to front and not even what I was talking about. I understand about cuts to Social care due to the government, but don't cut my care, I ate a lot of medication after the lies / untruths that I read in my last report. Just not good enough, once upon a time...a professional cared about their patients not about their pay packet. This will also be directed to MP of Solihull.
