Attempting to phone for an appointment is a nightmare...after 25 minutes on hold the person answering the phone is telling me that my Doctor at my practice (in Dalton Sq) is on holiday until August 12th (this is the Doctor we have been given a while ago but not yet even met!), I’m saying ‘fine I am in pain but I am willing to wait and see him after the 12th.’..but no!, for what ever reason am unable to arrange an appointment for after the 12th of August today! Apparently I have to ring back early next week in the hope appointments will be then be available and waste heaven knows how much time and money on the phone in the hope that an appointment to see him can then be made....apparently I could possibly see him elsewhere but why on earth would I want to go elsewhere when already registered with my nearest Doctor - which is in Dalton Square? This farce needs sorting out now
