Staff and care is 100% 

I idolise all staff. Everything has been clean. Always polite and can't ask for anything better. Regular observations.

Food: very tasteless, quiche and potato. Quiche was so dry and potatoes were brown in colour.

Domestics are always cleaning. Can't complain. It's the wee things that matter they do for you.

OT has been fantastic.

Only issue is waiting for my meds to go home. Starting to get agitated. Waiting for 2/3 hours is not acceptable.

dear Suzziewong.

I was sorry to learn that you were not satisfied with the catering service during your admission. If concerns are raised at the time this allows catering staff to personally visit patients and discuss these issues with them whilst still in hospital.

I can advise that we are constantly striving to improve the standard of catering within the hospital and the patient menu is approved by dieticians, however there are a number of reasons why some patients will, understandably, not be totally satisfied with the meal they receive. This includes personal preference, side effects arising from medication and general ill health affecting appetite. Notwithstanding that, we do take patient’s dissatisfaction extremely seriously and can advise that NHS Lanarkshire undertakes a quarterly Patient Catering Opinion Survey across all inpatient wards, which provides valuable information in our ongoing aim of improving patient satisfaction levels.
