My father has just been discharged after two weeks care at the hospital. He couldn’t have had a better experience in his journey through a&e, resus and the Evelyn ward where he finally ended up. Throughout this time he was given excellent medical, nursing and caring care. He was treated with respect and good humour. He even enjoyed the food!. They communicated well with him (not easy as he’s quite deaf) and always made sure he knew what was going on.
As his next of kin, they kept me informed and were always there to answer my questions and allay any concerns. The ward environment, although a bit hot and stuffy, was cheerful, colourful, spotlessly clean and quite relaxing. Thanks to everyone!
