Admitted to a&e with a suspected cardiac problem, following incident of "faintness" at home. Taken by ambulance, after their initial assessment that "something" had happened. To A&E Crosshouse Hospital. BP/HR tests there ad in CAU proved inconclusive, and I was finally sent to ward 3E/ACH for a further battery of similar tests. Finally, around 1pm my pacemaker was "consulted" and checked for malfunction. Nothing was identified and I was discharged with a slight adjustment to ongoing medication.
At each stage of my short journey I met with highly professional staff who were diligent and careful. I might add, and unfailingly pleasant while evidently extremely busy.
Perhaps attention could be given to finding a quicker means of issuing drugs from pharmacy (this added 4/5 hours to my stay.)
"Unfailingly pleasant staff"
