"Wasted 50 mile round trip"

(as the patient),

I have podiatry treatment at South Petherton, the podiatrist had stressed that the next appointment was important as he needed to check how a wound on my foot was healing and to change the dressing.  I duly went to South Pertherton for this important appointment only to be told the appointment had been cancelled. I had not been notified beforehand nor was there any information about what I should do about the dressing which needs to be changed or who should now check that would is healing as it should. 

it's a 50 mile round trip for me, a total waste of time and money that could very easily have been prevented.
