"5 months since falling..."

I fell heavily on my wrist ..xrayed in A&E 4 or 5 hrs later, after a long & painful ( agony really) wait.

By which time too swollen to see chips or breaks .. suspected.. X-ray showed much arthritis in the wrist joint ... Left hospital at 4.30 am but went back to A&E four hours later and another four hours waiting in A& E because the pain was too intense to bear..a Waste of time. No decent pain relief offered ie Tramadol eg

Tramadol for short term relief.

Seen in Fracture Clinic first appt given th same info as i got in A& E .... second Appt in Fracture Clinic ... discharged as wrist considered healing .... Within a week extraordinary

Pins & Needles in all 5 fingers came on with intensity i’d never experienced before ... My Shoulder joint down to elbow,, elbow to wrist, wrist to hand & fingers were All painful and i could not sleep at night ..waking after 2 hrs wth terrible pain ... had to sit up for the rest of the night ... in my Granny Chair.

I had been to the GP Surgery several ... times was offered a Naturopathic medication ... but said i was on Pregabilin for arthritic neck pain, for many years, prescribed by Neurologist at Sussex Royal ...I’ve been in pain for months now 4 and a half months since my fall on 7 March 2019 !! I saw a Senior Partner in the Practise ... to complain ... I’d been referred to Physio, Orthopedics, MSK, to date 15.7.2019

Desperate for help i I rang PALS &

Orthopaedics left a long moan message.

I also have numbers given to me by PALS .lady. ..I spoke to the Trust perhaps ? asking if I couldn’t be seen

ANYWHERE else in the South West ?

No but I got a letter !! dated 6 June offering me an August appointment .. BUT the very next day a letter dated 7 June CANCELLED that August appointment in the first letter dated 6th June !!

Beggars Belief .. Heaven Help Me because well ... !! ... I have poor mental health and the ongoing pain & the long wait have caused my depression to worsted ... All i was offered was advice, told “to take pain relief and sleeping pills” ... daily & nightly ... which i’ve had to increase ...no help or advice .
