"Impossible to talk to a human"

About: Basildon University Hospital / Maternity

I've just found out that I'm pregnant and require an ultrasound scan asap as I think I may be far along 5 months, I recently moved in to the area so wasn't registered with any GP although I gave a local GP a call about it who then gave me the Maternity Direct number. I called then the automated voice answered telling me to email them instead so I did. A few minutes later I received an automated reply via email which said that one of the midwives will contact me between 3-7 days. It has been about 5 days now. But I then tried calling them again and again, no one answered. Surely someone is there and can answer. Not happy
