What I liked

I can not rate my exprience today highly enough, when it comes to emergency treatment the hospital staff were fabulous with my son. As a teenager with a twisted testicle they all dealt with him very quickly and brillantly. I wish I could remember the name of the surgeon who whilst stressing the importance of undertaking surgery quickly - within 2 hours of arriving at A+ E she still took time to explain what was going on to my son to ensure he was not worried and understood what was going on. I happened to see her in the corridor after the operation and she made sure to be clear to me that all had gone well .The nurse who took us down to theatre kept him distracted and the anthesatist was reassuring and happy to explain what he was doing to ensure my son did not get distressed. In recovery the nurse was lovely and the new childrens ward is a fab environment. I can not rate the staff and exprience highly enough.Its easy to moan about the food etc but actually when expriencing medical emergency all you need happened today , we were dealt with quickly and efficently. thank you so much.
