"Can't thank the staff enough"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / General Surgery (Ward 5) University Hospital Hairmyres / Pre Operative Assessment

(as the patient),

I was admitted with gallbladder pain, was in severe pain, I honestly cant thank the staff enough in this ward, nurses Karen and Kellee always went above and beyond, Emma makes you smile no matter what, sorry I dont remember all the nurses names but what a great team. Now down to the doctors, consultants and surgeons - outstanding work. Gabby what can I say, amazing young lady who's a credit to the NHS, Mr Denley, amazing explaining everything every day, all the other surgeons etc are amazing, now to the man himself Mr Mahmood, what a great gentleman, thank you to the dream team of Hairmyres hospital,   sorry if you put on weight due to the sweets lol.

Dear Bellyman,

Thank you for your recent post on Patient Care Opinion. Looks like you had a difficult time relating to pain, but you were clearly well looked after by both the Nursing and Medical staff whilst in general surgery.
Our nursing and medical staff strive to work closely as a team who are hard working and aim to deliver the best person centred care whilst in hospital. we also aim to give clear explanations to ensure patients are updated and put at ease at what can be a difficult time for them.

I will be delighted to pass on your story to the nursing and medical staff within general surgery as well as the names you mentioned.

Many thanks once more for your post and hope you are now recovering well.

Kind Regards

Karen
