Visiting a family member and was disgusted at the cleanliness in toilets, and the restaurant hygiene on the ground floor. I watched a member of the serving staff wipe their snotty nose, pick their nose wipe it down their clothes and then serve food without any hygiene considerations at all, (I’d like to add that I belied the manager was also serving occasionally at that time too so not sure he has a grab in hygiene either)
I am not in the restaurant industry but this behaviour surely is against the basic hygiene certificate criteria which this staff member must have passed.
This same staff member then worked on the till, emptied the bins and then went back to the counter to serve food no cleaning of hands or gloves used, he was continuously wiping his wet nose with his hands, I was utterly appalled. (I actually did not eat the food as the cross contamination of these events was extremely worrying) .
Most nursing staff are lovely but some need to work on their visitors care as many there are extremely worried about their loved ones.
