After going to the GP feeling breathless my husband was admitted by emergency ambulance to resus. It was an exceedingly busy day and there were patients of all ages on trolleys in the corridor. Despite the pressure they were under the staff remained cheerful and professional. My husband was given excellent emergency care and when stable was first transferred to Major care and then to Medical Short Stay where he spent a further three days
