"Chaotic, poorly run and not managed"

About: Leeds General Infirmary

What I liked

N/a

What could be improved

Better communication, help and assistance

Anything else?

I was sent to the hospital with a letter from my GP requesting a blood test and X-ray due to chest pains, 3 hours after arriving there at 3.30 I'd had blood taken but no X-ray , when I questioned the X-ray I was told I needed to see a doctor and that there was 1 patient in front of me.

Another hour later when I had still seen no doctor or had the X-ray I was sent for I chose to self discharge as I felt my GP's wishes had been ignored and my welfare certainly was not a priority.

Irony is they did a bloodiest for thrombosis then left me sat for 4 hours in a hot waiting room.

I was at no point advised of current prognosis or kept informed about waiting times etc

I have never sef discharged from an hospital in my life, the whole experience was a shambles.
