"Bad move joining tower healthcare"

Our drs.. tottington health centre is a really good drs, but ever since joining tower healthcare it has become more and more frequent where if you actually manage to get through on the phone in a morning, all the appointments have "gone" it really is not good enough, besides exasperating the drs and the staff, most of the patients are complaining about this as well, we are 72 and 74 year olds and my husband is a frequent sufferer from asthmatic attacks combined with chest infections,, and it really is not good enough when you "need" to see a dr, preferably one that knows you, and knows your problems and how to deal with them,, you might say well all the info is up on the computer screen for each Dr to read and yes it is,, BUT there is no substitute for a Dr who is familiar with your problems, and knows just "how to treat you".. the drs surgery used to be a simple way of getting treatment, im afraid now its just a nightmare in a lot of cases.. sometimes SOME PEOPLE try to fix things that just are not broken and i wish they would learn that it doesnt always work, when you ask how likely are we to recommend this surgery to friends etc, i would love to put highly likely because of the wonderful staff that we have, but i cant because of the problems of getting an appointment when they are really needed..
