"Great support to help me get out of alcohol addiction"

About: Change Grow Live / ResoLUTiONs Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service

(as a volunteer/advocate),

I had alcohol problem for 7 years and went for private treatment twice in 2016, 2018 spent almost eight thousand pounds but did not work for me. May 2018 I got referred to CGL resolutions in Luton and I started to attend groups and this is where I found out what recovery really means. I had a ambulatory detox at CGL resolutions the service and care was great. I am grateful for having resolutions recovery hub in Luton which offers amazing aftercare, mutual aid support and therapy groups. I am ten months abstinent, facing reality, taking my responsibilities without using alcohol doing a part time job and CGL resolutions has been great support to help me get out of alcohol addiction, move towards my life directions and building a better life. CGL resolutions offers great opportunities for people in recovery for volunteer roles and employment within the service and I am grateful and proud of being a volunteer at CGL resolutions.
