"Life-saving care generously delivered"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Stroke Care

(as the patient),

Previously I had limited experience as a patient of the NHS. Unexpectedly I needed urgent treatment.  The speed of delivery of the care and the quality of the service from the beginning was outstanding to then maintain such a standard in every detail through my stay was wonderful.

It was obvious that every patient enjoyed the teams high standard of care at all times.  Marvelous to see first hand.  Moving to benefit from life saving care so generously delivered

Dear funnypw64,

It is so nice to read your feedback. Stroke is a medical emergency. Treatment has developed over the years and I am delighted you have beneffited from this. In the first few hours and days there is so many investigations and treatments and we are very aware how frightening this must be for you as the patient and your family.

I am delighted at all stages you found the team delivered a high standard of care and this has promoted your recovery. Thank you for posting your feedback which I will ensure is shared with the team.

Best Wishes for your future recovery,

Christine
