Had to be admitted for a second time in 6 weeks for an ongoing condition. After havng passedd through A+E ok, then on to be assessed I was very glad to be admitted back to this ward.
Everyone here is a wonderful person that shows only respect, kindness and a great deal of empathy to all patients. This is in all levels of staff...the way they handle tricky situations to dealing with awkward problems can only be admired.
I was lucky enough to have mobility and could get out of bed many times but for those way more unfortunate it was so reassuring to see the level of attention to the patient's decency, concerns and needs being shown. Thanks to all in the Ward for their care and help to not only me, but all my fellow patients...your care, kindness and aptly placed humour brigthened a stay nobody wants.
"Big thanks to Whippingham Ward"
