The bedside manner of the sonographer conducting my 12 week dating scan. I feel like I was rushed through the scan because I chose not to have the downs syndrome screening. It was almost a case of just getting me and out again.
I was briefly shown the heartbeat, and I had legs and arms pointed out and that was about it. Only one measurement was taken, crown to rump length. I did not receive an EDD based upon my scan but it is still based on my LMP. I was also questioned over the date of my 20 week scan, being first told I would not be 20 weeks, and after advising I would be, I was then told, I would be.
After suffering missed miscarriages in my previous 2 pregnancies I had been looking forward to this for a long time and the whole experience was quite a let down. I am not having my next scan at the Royal Berks and I wish I had opted to have this at another hospital also.
