"where's the customer care and service"

About: Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital

What I liked

Not a lot to be honest. it was clean...so that was good

What could be improved

my girlfriend had broken her finger on new years eve, obviously a very busy time and so i cannot complain about waiting times, it would be unfair and the break itself was her own fault, however, after the 6 hour wait and she was put in a splint, without any painkillers and by a nurse who simply pushed the finger back into place (i should point out that it was sticking out in very much the wrong direction) and this resulted in tears. we were sent home. as there was knowone to give her an xray, which i think is pretty rediculous considering it is supposed to be the busiest day of the year! so we went back the next day instead where she was told by a surgeon that he was sending us for an xray. after we got that dont the surgeon said "where is the splint" as the xray nurse had removed it and he then said "why didnt you stop her" as though we were supposed to automatically know what was going on without being told. and whats worse is that because the nurse wasnt told by anyone to leave it in place it then meant my girlfriend had to have surgery to put the finger back in place as the hack job the night before had then been undone
