"Overall the service has been great"

About: Highbury Hospital Highbury Hospital / AHP Inpatient Highbury (Maples)

(as a service user),

Overall... the service of the Highbury hospital has been great. OT activities have been beneficial towards my health and well being.

What it could be better is give more time for patients to show their likes or interests in different parts of socialising in groups to get to know one and another.

Thanks for your feedback about OT activities at Highbury. I was pleased to read that you found it helpful.

You also mentioned a suggestion for increasing the time needed to get to know other patients. So that I can pass this on to the team who looked after you, would you mind letting us know what part of the hospital you received your care?

We really appreciate any suggestions for improvements as we know it can make the stay in hospital better for anyone who receives our services.

Thank you for your comments and feedback. The Maples team at Highbury really appreciate the fact that you found the activities a positive experience. We are very focused on supporting recovery and I am so pleased you were able to benefit from the sessions. We do run a social group weekly, however I take on board your comments and we will endeavour to provide a time to talk session. We all wish you the very best for your ongoing recovery.

The Maples timetable has a weekly time to talk group, as part of the recovery sessions.
